The VAPEN Titan-X 30K has been in my jacket pocket for the last six weeks, filled twice, charged more often than that, and carried through a wet British fortnight. It is the first device of this size I have used that is not a sealed tube, and that single difference changes almost everything about how you live with it. This page covers what our own listing records for it, what 30,000 puffs is worth in days you can actually plan, how the refill works, which of the sixteen flavours do what, and — in one section I have not seen on any other page for this model — the four things our listing does not record and that I am therefore not going to print as facts.

How the cube sits in a hand

Our listing records the Titan-X at approximately 86 g per piece, and that is about right against a set of kitchen scales: noticeably heavier than a 600-puff stick, lighter than a phone. The body is a small cube with a laser finish, so it stands up on a desk on its own and does not roll off one. In a jacket pocket it disappears. In a shirt pocket it pulls the fabric down, which is the honest trade for a 30 ml tank.

What this page is not

It is not a manufacturer page, and it is not written from a press release. Every figure below is either recorded in our own product listing or attributed to the page that states it, and where those two things run out I say so rather than filling the gap. That is a slower way to write a product page and a faster way to decide whether to buy one.

The published figures for this listing, and what each one asks of you

Item

What our listing states

What that means while you are using it

Cuenta de caladas

Hasta 30,000 caladas

A rating, not a count. The 30 ml tank decides how often you handle the device. The 650 mAh cell decides whether you have to think about charging. The refill design decides whether you keep buying devices or keep buying liquid. The airflow switch decides what the thing feels like in your hand, which is the part no specification sheet can tell you. Everything else on the table above is logistics, useful mainly to whoever is paying for the order.

Why carton numbers appear on a retail page

Because the same listing is bought by both kinds of customer, and a shop that orders ten pieces needs to know that ten pieces is one display box rather than ten loose units. If you are buying one for yourself, the two shipping rows are noise and you can ignore them. If you are buying for a counter, they are the most useful rows on the page.

Turning 30,000 puffs into days you can plan around

VAPEN’s own storefront puts the Titan-X at “up to 30,000+ puffs” and then qualifies it inside the same block: the figure is an estimate made under standard testing conditions and real-world results vary. That is the only honest reading of it, and it matches how ratings of this kind are produced across the category — from short machine draws of about a second, rather than from the pulls a person actually takes.

Independent trade guidance is more useful than the rating. Published advice on disposable capacity puts real-world consumption at roughly 250 to 300 puffs per millilitre of liquid, with one guide giving a wider 100 to 300 range. Take the tighter figure and a 30 ml tank is somewhere around 7,500 to 9,000 ordinary puffs. That is still an enormous amount of vaping, and it is nothing like 30,000 — so here is the same arithmetic laid out against three habits:

If you puff about

Liquid that draws, roughly

How far 30 ml goes

What the 30,000 rating covers

150 times a day

Under 1 ml

50 to 60 days

About 200 days at that rate, which nobody sustains

300 times a day

About 1 ml

25 to 30 days

About 100 days

500 times a day

Close to 2 ml

15 to 18 days

About 60 days

Read the third column as the number that matters. A month of steady use from one fill is the realistic promise of this device, and that is already several times what a 600-puff stick gives you. Everything past that is arithmetic done in a laboratory.

Why the rating is a ceiling rather than a promise

Nobody can confirm the figure for you, and I want to be plain about that rather than bury it. There is no published test behind it, no independent count from a reviewer and no counter on the device that would let you check. What you can hold a seller to is the 30 ml, because millilitres do not depend on how anybody draws. That is why this page leads the planning with liquid and treats the puff number as the manufacturer’s stated rating and nothing more.

What shortens the count fastest

Four things, in the order they usually cost you. Long draws, because the mesh keeps heating while you pull. An airflow setting left wide open, because a looser pull invites a longer one. Back-to-back use, which keeps the mesh hot between puffs and drives off liquid you never taste. And a tank that has already been through a few fills, where the mesh wicks less efficiently and you start compensating with longer pulls. Shorten the draws and close the switch down a little and 30 ml goes noticeably further.

The top-fill system, the dust cap and the two silicone plugs

This is the part of the device that separates it from everything else on the same shelf, so it is worth doing properly once. Our listing describes it as a top-fill design with a dustproof cap: when the liquid runs low you do not throw the device away, you open the top port and pour your own liquid in. The cap’s job is to keep dust out of the mouthpiece while the device is in a pocket or on a shelf.

The order I use, after two fills on this one:

Stand the device upright and take the mouthpiece off the top. Lift it straight rather than levering it, so the cap and the port do not take a sideways load.

Under the cap there are two silicone plugs. Lift them, fill through the open port, and stop short of the very top — a tank filled to the brim has nowhere to put the air and pushes liquid into the airflow path.

Seat both plugs flat again before the cap goes back on. A plug folded over at one corner is the most common cause of liquid appearing at the mouthpiece an hour later.

Wait a few minutes before the first pull so the mesh can take liquid back up, then start at a lower airflow setting and open it up once the taste settles.

The first fill, and letting the wick settle

The device arrives with liquid already in the tank, so the first fill is not something you do on day one — it is what you do on day four or five, whenever the taste starts thinning. General practice with a fresh mesh is the same as with any rebuildable: give it five to ten minutes standing upright after a refill before you draw on it hard. Rush that and the first three or four pulls taste of hot cotton rather than of the flavour you paid for.

The airflow switch under the base

There is one control on this device and it is underneath: a switch that slides to change how much air reaches the coil. Closed down, you get a firm, tight, mouth-to-lung style pull and a warmer taste. Opened up, the pull goes light and airy and the vapour gets cooler and thicker. There is no right setting, but there is a useful starting point — begin tight, open it in small steps across a single fill, and stop when the pull feels like the one you would choose. Most people land about a third of the way open and stay there.

One consequence worth knowing: the same tank will not last the same number of days at both ends of that switch. A wide-open setting at 300 draws a day is an 18-day tank; the same person with the switch nearly closed gets closer to a month out of it.

Choosing among the sixteen flavours

Sixteen names in a row is not a choice, it is a list. Good second tanks for anyone who finds the iced group too cold.

If you only want to stock three

Take watermelon ice, blueberry cherry cranberry and cola ice. That is one clean cold fruit, one fuller blend and one that is not fruit at all, which between them cover the three kinds of customer who walk up to a counter. If the shelf is bigger than three, add strawberry ice and double apple next — they are the two names people ask for by name.

The one I would buy again

Blueberry cherry cranberry, and the reason is dull rather than exciting: it is the one I kept going back to after the novelty of the iced fruits wore off, because sweet-and-sour stays interesting across a tank where a single cold fruit stops being interesting by the second week. If you want the opposite — something that is unmistakably itself on every draw for a month — buy watermelon ice instead.

Charging it, storing it, and reading three faults apart

Because there is no readout on this device, every problem looks like the same problem: the draw goes weak. The Type-C port is on the base, so the device stands up while it charges, which is also the position that keeps liquid away from the airflow path. A 650 mAh cell of this size comes back up quickly; there is nothing to gain from leaving it on the cable for hours after that.

Storage between fills

Keep it upright, cool and out of direct sun, and away from a car interior in summer — heat thins the liquid and thin liquid finds its way into places the airflow does not want it. A drawer indoors is the right home for a spare. If you are putting it away for a fortnight rather than a night, leave the tank part-filled rather than brim-full and stand it on its base.

Where our listing is silent, and what we will not claim

This section exists because the alternatives to it are guessing or padding, and both are worse than an empty cell. Four things a buyer may reasonably want to know are not recorded anywhere we can point to for this model. Here is each one, with what I did about it.

Coil resistance: the one figure nobody agrees on

Our listing records the coil as a bobina de malla dual and stops there. It records no resistance in ohms, and neither does our specification sheet. I went looking, because it is the figure people ask for, and what I found is worse than a gap: VAPEN’s own storefront and VAPEN’s own factory site give different resistance figures for the same model. When a brand’s two pages disagree with each other, the only defensible position for a seller is to print neither and say so. So that is what this page does.

If resistance is the number you buy on, ask us before you order and we will read the current batch off the packaging for you. What I am not going to do is pick one of two conflicting numbers off somebody else’s page and put it on ours.

There is no readout on the body

Our listing records no screen, no battery bar and no puff counter, and I found nothing in it that suggests one. Buy this device expecting to judge it by taste and by how firm the pull feels, not by looking at a number. If a status display is the thing you want, this is the wrong model — and it is worth saying clearly, because the shape of this device is easy to confuse with siblings that do have one.

Two other devices answer to this name

Search for this model and roughly four results in five are about something else. A UK prefilled pod kit is sold under the name “Titan X” and runs to about 10,000 puffs from a 1,000 mAh cell at a fixed strength. A different brand sells an “Anyx Titan 30K” with a 25 ml tank and an 830 mAh battery. Neither of those is this device. This one is the VAPEN with the 30 ml refillable tank, the 650 mAh cell, the top-fill port and the switch under the base. If you want to see what else the brand makes, the rest of the VAPEN range is on one page.

How many times the tank can be refilled

Also not recorded. Our listing says the tank is refillable and describes how; it states no ceiling on how many fills a single unit will take. A mesh coil is a wearing part, so this matters more here than on any sealed device, and I am not going to invent a number for it.

What I can give you is the practical signal, which is the same on every refillable of this kind: flavour is the ceiling. A fill that comes back tasting flat, thin or faintly bitter means the mesh is finished, not that the tank needs more liquid. Most devices in this class are good for a handful of fills rather than indefinite reuse. If you plan to run this as a long-term refillable rather than as one very long-lived fill, raise it with us before you order — it is the one expectation worth settling in advance.

Who this one is for, and who should choose a different shape

Worth carrying if

A poor fit if

You get through a large sealed device in a few days and would rather top a tank up than replace it

You want a screen showing liquid level and charge, because there is not one

You want one device to cover a fortnight of steady use instead of a drawer of small ones

You would rather never handle liquid at all — a sealed 30 ml device is simpler

You like a pull you can tighten by hand at the base and set once

You want something light enough to forget about in a shirt pocket

You already buy your own liquid and want a device that takes it

You buy on coil resistance figures, because we cannot print one honestly for this model

You are stocking a counter and want a high-capacity device that is not a sealed tube

You want a device that takes a replacement coil, because this one is sold as a single integrated unit

One more useful comparison, because it decides the purchase for a lot of people: VAPEN also makes the Skywalk 30K, which carries the same 30 ml and the same 650 mAh cell but is a closed device — the brand’s own page says plainly that it cannot be refilled. If refilling is the point for you, this is the one of the two to take. If you would rather never open a tank, take the Skywalk and accept that the liquid is fixed. If you are shopping by capacity rather than by model, the rest of the 30K shelf is worth a look before you commit.

Questions that come up before ordering

Can I refill it with an e-liquid that is not VAPEN’s own?

Our listing answers this from testing rather than from policy: it was run with different brands of salt nicotine liquid and worked with all of them, and the coil did not leak. That is a claim from the people who tested it, and it is not a promise about every liquid on the market — a heavily sweetened or unusually thick liquid will wear a mesh coil sooner and can mute the taste. If you have a specific liquid in mind, tell us before you commit to a case and we will say what we know.

If the mesh starts tasting flat, can I buy a replacement on its own?

Our listing records no replacement coil for this model, and VAPEN sells it as one integrated unit. Treat the mesh as part of the device rather than a part you swap out. When it tastes tired while there is still liquid in the tank, the unit is at the end of its working life rather than in need of a spare part.

Can I choose which of the sixteen go into a ten-piece display box?

Our listing states the display box and lists the flavours, but it does not fix a mix rule, so I am not going to invent one. Say the split you want when you place the order and we will confirm it against what is actually on the shelf that week. A box that has not been specified is picked as our standard spread rather than as ten of one flavour.

Does it arrive sealed, and can it sit unused for a few weeks?

Our listing does not record whether the tank is sealed at the factory or how long a filled tank can stand unused, so I will not guess at either. The practical position is worth more than a made-up figure: keep it upright, cool and out of direct sun, and take one cautious draw before you rely on it if it has been sitting for weeks. If the first pull tastes faint, give it a few minutes upright and try again.

Does the bottom dial move on its own in a pocket?

Our listing records an adjustable switch on the base and nothing about a lock. On this design it is a friction setting, so check it after the device has been bouncing around in a bag: if the pull has changed since you last used it, look at the base before you look anywhere else. It takes a second to nudge back to where you had it.

For shops and resellers: what to confirm before an order

Single units and display boxes both ship from our EU warehouse, and there is no minimum order on this listing. If you are stocking a shelf rather than buying for yourself, three things are worth settling before the order goes in.

Unit sizes. Ten pieces make one display box and 890 g is what that box weighs. Twenty display boxes make a carton of 200 pieces at 42 x 36.5 x 28 cm and roughly 18.91 kg. If your stockroom is tight, that 36.5 cm depth is the dimension to plan around.

Stock and dispatch. This listing is supplied from European stock, so the journey is short. Confirm the dispatch window for your destination when you order rather than working from a category page, because the answer depends on what is on the shelf that week.

Flavour mix. State it at the point of ordering. Orders are picked as written, so a box that has not been specified arrives as our standard spread, and re-splitting an order afterwards costs you a second dispatch.

The returns position, before you commit. We do not accept returns once an order has shipped. Check the flavours and the strengths on the order confirmation while it is still open, because that is the moment a mistake is still cheap to correct. A faulty unit is a different matter and is handled as a replacement or a credit — raise it with the unit in front of you and describe what it is doing when it does it.

If you want the strength split, the flavour mix or the carton count confirmed against what we actually hold, ask before you order. It is a short question and it is a great deal cheaper than a reorder.

The VAPEN Titan-X 30K puffs are drawn from a 30ml tank you can top up yourself, with a 650mAh Type-C battery, adjustable bottom airflow and sixteen flavours.
