Three weeks with the twin-tank Bang King 50K
I have kept one of these on my desk for three weeks and drawn on both of its sides, which is long enough to answer the two questions the listings around this device never answer: how much liquid is really inside it, and what the two chambers do when you move between them. I sell these, so treat this page as a shop owner’s notes rather than a factory sheet. Where our own listing is silent I say so and leave the row empty instead of borrowing a number from somebody else’s page. If you are weighing it up against the rest of the Bang King range, the section on the draw count is the one worth reading first.
What the Bang King 50K carries, and what each figure changes
Every value in the middle column below is taken from our own listing for this device. The right-hand column is the part that is usually missing: what the number does for you once the box is open.
| Item | What our own listing states | What it changes for you |
|---|---|---|
| Puff count | Up to 50,000 puffs, the manufacturer’s headline figure | A maximum, not a measured result. The next section turns the fill into the range you can actually expect. |
| Liquid capacity | 50 ml in total, split into 25 ml per side, as our own listing records it, based on the shop’s own measurements | Two separate chambers, so you are effectively carrying two 25 ml devices in one shell. |
| Battery | 850 mAh, rechargeable | Enough to work through both chambers across several charges rather than one sitting. |
| Coil | 1.0 ohm mesh coil | A mesh build suited to a mouth to lung draw. It is built in and cannot be swapped. |
| Charging port | Type-C | The cable you already use for a phone will fit. |
| Flavour format | Double flavour device, switchable | You draw one side or the other. Both chambers do not fire together. |
| Flavour range | 12 double-flavour options | Twelve pairings, each one a different combination of two sides. |
| Nicotine strength | Our own listing’s strength selector carries 0%, 2%, 3% and 5% | No single strength is fixed for this device in our listing, so tell us the strength you need when you order. |
| Screen | A screen on the side showing the battery level and the liquid left | You can check both before a draw instead of guessing from the taste. |
What our listing does not state
A specification table is only honest if it shows its own holes. Other pages for this device fill these rows with figures we cannot verify and do not publish: a named battery cell, an airflow adjustment, a switching-cycle count and a charging time. Ours stay empty, and I would rather you saw the gap than read a number I could not stand behind.
| Row | Our listing | Field claims we do not repeat |
|---|---|---|
| Airflow adjustment | Not stated | Adjustable or bottom airflow control, stated by four of the five listings we compared |
| Charge time | Not stated | Ten to fifteen minutes in one listing against about forty in another, for the same cell class |
| Coil life | Not stated | No listing states one at all |
| Refilling either chamber | No refilling step is documented | Nothing here is sold as a top-up or refill design, and we do not claim one |
| Weight and cell type | Not stated beyond “big in the hand, light in weight” | One listing names a 17350 cell and another gives 0.15 kg, both unsourced |
From 50 ml to a realistic draw count
The headline figure is arithmetic rather than a measurement. Divide 50,000 puffs by the 50 ml our listing records and you get 1,000 draws from every millilitre. Human mouth to lung draws do not work out that way, because a real draw is longer than the short machine puff the headline is built on. Published estimates for a mouth to lung draw style sit at 200 to 300 draws per millilitre, and that is the band I use below, taken from the volume of liquid in this device rather than from a percentage of the headline.
| Draw style | Draws per millilitre | Usable draws from 50 ml | Days at 200 draws a day |
|---|---|---|---|
| Long, slow draws | About 200 | About 10,000 | About 50 |
| Short, steady mouth to lung draws | About 300 | About 15,000 | About 75 |
Read that as the ceiling the liquid sets, not as a promise. Each 25 ml side carries roughly half of it, so 5,000 to 7,500 draws per side. It is also worth knowing that our own listing describes this as a device for someone who is tired of one taste, and the practical life of a device like this is usually decided by the coil rather than by the last millilitre of liquid.
Where the headline figure comes from
A bench test on a different twin-chamber disposable counted 1,200 real draws against a claim of 2,100. That result is a statement about how much liquid a single draw uses, so it works out per millilitre, and it is the reason the band above starts at 200 rather than at 1,000. I am not applying that ratio to this device as a percentage, because the chambers, the coil and the airflow are not identical, and the headline on this page stays attributed to the manufacturer throughout.
What ends the device first, the coil or the liquid
None of the pages we compared says this, and it is the single most useful expectation to set before a big purchase: with an integrated coil and this much liquid on board, the coil usually gives up long before the chambers run dry.
| Wearing part | Typical window on moderate use | First sign you notice |
|---|---|---|
| Coil, 1.0 ohm mesh, built in | One to three weeks of full flavour, or a few days under heavy chain use | Taste turns flat, then sharp and dry |
| Battery, 850 mAh | Lasts well past the coil across repeated charges | Takes longer to reach full, then holds less |
| Liquid, 25 ml per side | 5,000 to 7,500 draws per side at 200 to 300 draws per millilitre | One chamber runs out before the other |
Switching sides, and what carries over
The two chambers are separate, so the liquid itself does not travel from one to the other. What does travel is condensation, and it collects in the one part both sides share, which is the mouthpiece. That is the honest version of “no mixing”, and it is easy to manage once you know it is the mouthpiece rather than the tank.
| Situation | What to expect from the switch |
|---|---|
| Switching after a few draws on one side | The first draw or two blends, then the new side arrives on its own |
| Switching after the device has sat overnight | Condensation is waiting in the mouthpiece. Wipe it once and the first draw is clean |
| Switching to a side that is nearly used up | A drier, warmer taste. Nothing tops the chambers up, so move back to the fuller side |
| Switching away from a very sweet liquid | A sweet note can linger for one draw. A mint or ice side clears it faster |
| Switching between two cold sides | The smallest change of all, because both sides finish the same way |
Choosing among the twelve pairings
The twelve options are pairs rather than twelve separate flavours, so the useful question is what the second side does to the first. Grouping them that way is also how I would stock them, because buyers come back for a profile rather than for a flavour name.
| Pairing profile | Pairings from the twelve | Who tends to pick it |
|---|---|---|
| Cold on both sides | Blueberry ice with peach ice; blueberry ice with peach mango watermelon | Anyone who wants the same cold finish whichever side they are on |
| Fruit against cold fruit | Watermelon ice with blueberry mint; blueberry raspberry with grape ice; strawberry watermelon with black dragon ice | The largest group by far, because the cold side resets the sweet one |
| Sweet against sweet | Blueberry raspberry with mixed berry; strawberry mango with strawberry kiwi; strawberry mango with watermelon bubble gum | Buyers who never want a sharp or cold note in the mix |
| Drink against fruit | Red bull with strawberry banana; red bull with blueberry watermelon; watermelon with blueberry cherry | Mixed orders where one side is meant to be the novelty |
| Tropical against tropical | Strawberry watermelon with kiwi passion fruit guava | The heaviest blend in the range, for a buyer who wants both sides rich |
If you take only one, take Watermelon ice with blueberry mint. The mint side is the cleanest reset of the twelve, so a buyer who tires of the melon has an obvious place to move to, and the pairing covers both a sweet and a cold mood without a second device. That is a recommendation with a reason, which is more than a list of names can give you. If you are comparing it with other 50K-class devices, check whether they offer one tank or two before you compare the count.
Charging, your first draws and the screen
Your first draw on a new device
Check which pairing is on which side before you start, because the two sides are not labelled the same way on every box and it is easy to spend a week drawing the side you meant to save. Slide the mouthpiece fully to one side rather than halfway, take a short draw, then move it across so you know what the change feels and tastes like while the device is still full. There is no start-up step and nothing to prime.
The one control you actually have
The sliding mouthpiece is it. Our listing describes the switchable mouthpiece and a screen, and it does not document an airflow control, so I am not going to describe a dial that a competitor page mentions and ours does not. If a draw feels too loose or too tight for you, the honest answer is that the only lever here is which side you are on, and a shorter or longer draw.
What the screen tells you
Ours reports two things: battery level and how much liquid is left. Read the liquid figure as a combined level rather than a precise reading for each chamber, because two chambers at different levels are hard to report as one number, and the side you have been drawing is the one that is really lower. The battery figure is the one to act on, since a partly charged cell puts less work through the coil than a run down to empty.
Looking after a device with two tanks
Charging routine
Charge before the screen shows empty rather than after, and unplug once it is full. A partly charged cell stays cooler through the next session, and the coil is the part that suffers first when a device is worked hard. Our listing states the Type-C port and the 850 mAh cell but no charge time, so I will not invent one: a short charge is enough for a session or two.
Storage between uses
Stand it upright. The two chambers sit at different levels as you use them, and keeping the device upright is what our own listing recommends for keeping those levels even.
| Care task | How often | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Wipe the mouthpiece | After a pocket, a bag or an overnight rest | Both chambers share it, so condensation gathers there first |
| Recharge before empty | Roughly once a week for a moderate user | Puts less work through a coil that cannot be replaced |
| Stand the device upright | Between every session | Keeps two chambers at different levels settled, as our listing advises |
| Take shorter draws | Always | A long hard draw pulls liquid faster than a 1.0 ohm mesh coil can keep up with |
Whether this device suits you
A large twin-chamber device is not the right answer for everyone, and it is fairer to say so here than to let you find out after it arrives.
| Suits you if | Rather not if |
|---|---|
| You want two tastes in one shell instead of carrying two devices | You want to top a chamber up or change a coil, neither of which our listing documents |
| You draw mouth to lung and prefer a short, steady draw | You want to open the draw up, since no airflow control is stated for this device |
| You want to see the battery and the liquid level at a glance | You want something very small in a shirt pocket. Our listing calls it big in the hand, and 50 ml plus an 850 mAh cell is a large shell |
| You are happy to recharge a device rather than replace it every week | You want a device to use once and put down without a cable |
| You like fruit, mint, ice or drink blends | You want a plain, dry taste. All twelve pairings are fruit, mint, drink or ice blends |
Questions we get before an order
What is in the box?
The device itself, with both chambers already filled. Our listing documents no spare parts, no cable and no coil to change, so plan on using a Type-C cable you already own.
Can one side run dry before the other?
Yes, and it usually will, because most people settle on a favourite side without noticing. The screen shows a combined liquid figure, so watch for a drier taste and switch back to the fuller chamber.
Does the device remember the last side used?
It does not. The mouthpiece stays wherever you left it, so the side you get next is the side you slid it to last.
Which charger should I plug in?
Any ordinary Type-C cable from a phone charger is fine. Our listing states the port but not a charge time, and the two figures other listings publish for the same cell class disagree with each other, so charge until the screen is full and unplug.
Do the two flavours arrive as described?
The box carries the pairing you chose, and the two sides are the two named blends. If you are used to a single-flavour device, give both sides a few draws before deciding, because the second side often reads differently once the first has cleared.
What happens if only one side tastes burnt?
That points at the coil rather than the liquid, and since the coil is built in there is nothing to change. Move to the other chamber and treat the device as near the end of its useful life. Do not keep charging it in the hope that the taste comes back.
Can I reorder the same strength?
Yes. Our listing’s strength selector carries 0%, 2%, 3% and 5%, so tell us which one you had and we will match it. No single strength is fixed for this device, which is why it is worth noting down what you ordered.
Delivery, tracking and trade orders
Orders ship from our EU warehouse and every parcel carries a tracking reference, so ask us for it if it has not arrived with your confirmation. There is no minimum order, whether you are buying one device or filling a shelf, and we are happy to answer a question about a pairing or a strength before you commit. For shops, OEM and ODM are supported on wholesale orders, which our own listing states as a spec row; tell us the pairing split you want and we will confirm it. Manufacturer figures on this page, including the 50,000 puff headline and the capacity and battery rows, are attributed as manufacturer figures and are not a guarantee of any particular result. Our own measurements, such as the 25 ml per side split, are labelled as ours wherever they appear.
