What I checked on the URO Tornado 30K, and what this page covers

I have had a URO Tornado 30K on my desk for five weeks, and it is the first disposable I have not had to think about mid-week. I am not the manufacturer and I have no laboratory. What I do have is the shop’s own specification sheet, a 28 ml fill I have actually worked through, and the patience to check the figures a listing repeats. So this page does three things. It sets out every figure our own listing gives for this device, it works out what 28 ml is worth in draws instead of restating the 30,000 rating, and it separates this device from the several unrelated ones also sold under the name Tornado 30K. If you have been comparing pages and the numbers would not line up, that last part is probably why.

Which Tornado 30K this is, and where the listings disagree

Tornado is not one device. Four different manufacturers sell something called a Tornado 30K or a Tornado 30000, and they do not share a fill, a battery or a flavour list. Which one you are reading about changes every number that follows, so it is worth settling first. This page is about the URO Tornado 30K: 28 ml, 650 mAh, ten flavours, an LED readout and a Type-C port.

Also sold as What that listing states How to tell it is not this one
URO Tornado 30K (this device) 28 ml, 650 mAh, ten flavours, LED readout, Type-C This is the page you are on. Match the 28 ml and the ten-flavour list.
RandM / Fumot Tornado 30K Music 30 ml, 600 mAh, thirty flavours, music-reactive lights A different fill and a different battery, and its light show reacts to sound. Ours has a plain readout and ten flavours.
RandM Tornado 15000 25 ml, 850 mAh, about 0.9 ohm Half the rating in the name, a larger battery and a smaller fill than ours.
Airmez Tornado 25K 25 ml in the listing I checked, 27 ml in another, 850 mAh Its own listings disagree on the fill. Either way it is not 28 ml, and its rotating airflow is not a feature of ours.
UZY Tornado 30K Two flavours in one body rather than one 28 ml tank If the listing offers you a flavour switch, it is not this device: ours is a single sealed fill.

Every figure in that table describes the other listing, not ours. I have not carried one of those numbers across into this device’s specification, and I would rather you saw the collision than discovered it after ordering.

There is one more disagreement and it is ours. Our listing states the coil as Cuatro Bobinas de Malla, 1.0ohm, and our own product text repeats the four-coil wording. The other listings of this model describe a single 1.0 ohm mesh coil and never mention four. I have kept our listing’s wording because that is what this shop publishes about what it sells, and I am telling you the difference rather than quietly picking a side. If the coil count matters to you, ask us before ordering and we will confirm it against the carton.

The rest of the manufacturer’s range, including the devices with different fills, is collected on the URO brand page.

The full specification as our listing states it, and what each figure means in use

Everything below is what our own listing states. No figure in this table came from another shop, and where a value is the manufacturer’s rating rather than a measurement, the third column says so.

Especificación As our listing states it What that means when you use it
Puff rating Up to 30,000 puffs (manufacturer’s rating) A rating, not a promise. The next section converts it using the fill, which is the number you can plan with.
E-líquido 28 ml, sealed and pre-filled The single biggest reason this device lasts. It is also the figure the draw arithmetic is built on.
Nicotina 2 % or 5 % Two versions, one strength per device. You choose at the point of ordering, not afterwards.
Batería 650 mAh, rechargeable It recharges, so the fill runs out before the cell does. This is not a single-use bar you throw away half full.
Bobina Four Mesh Coil, 1.0 ohm Mesh spreads the heat over more surface than a wire coil, which is the manufacturer’s explanation for a steady taste. See the note above on how the other listings describe it.
Cargando puerto Type-C The connector most phones and laptops already use, so a lost cable is not a dead device.
Pantalla LED display, battery and liquid status You can see roughly where the battery and the fill stand instead of guessing. What it cannot do is covered further down.
Sabores 10 opciones de sabor The full list, grouped by profile, is in the section on choosing.
Peso Approx. 100 g per piece Heavy for a disposable. A jacket pocket or a bag is fine; a shirt pocket is not.
Trade pack 10 pieces per box, 200 per carton, 375 x 375 x 300 mm, approx. 21 kg gross per carton Single units and boxes ship from the pack; the carton figures matter if you are restocking, and they are in the last section.

How many draws 28 ml really gives you: the arithmetic

The rating says 30,000. Divide that by the fill and you get about 1,071 draws per millilitre, which is the actual claim being made. Published consumption estimates for a mouth-to-lung device do not support that figure. They cluster well below it, and the spread between the estimates is wide enough that the honest answer is a band rather than a number.

Published basis I checked Draws per millilitre What 28 ml works out to
A 1.0 ohm mouth-to-lung setup on a 50/50 liquid about 300 about 8,400 draws
The main published mouth-to-lung band 200 to 300 5,600 to 8,400 draws
A per-draw consumption estimate, converted about 200 to 333 5,600 to 9,300 draws
The lowest band I found quoted 100 to 150 2,800 to 4,200 draws

Why the rating and the arithmetic disagree

It is not a trick and it is not a defect in this device. A machine rating is measured with short, uniform draws taken back to back; a person draws for longer and often takes the device out of a warm pocket. The rating also assumes the fill is used to the last drop, and most people stop when the taste turns. So a realistic planning band for the URO Tornado 30K, taken from the fill and the published per-millilitre figures rather than from a percentage of the rating, is roughly 5,600 to 8,400 draws. If your draws are long and frequent, expect the lower end; if they are short, the upper end.

One honest caveat: the same arithmetic is why a device’s fill, not its rating, is the figure worth comparing. A 28 ml device and a 30 ml device are close; a 28 ml device and a 20 ml device are not, whatever the two ratings say. If you want to see how the other long-life devices we stock compare on that basis, the 30,000 caladas archive collects them in one place.

Picking a flavour and a strength from the ten options

What the ten flavours are actually like

All ten are fruit, ice or drink profiles. There is no tobacco option and no dessert option in this list, which is worth knowing before you go looking for one. These notes are mine, from working through a fill, and they line up with how our listing describes each one.

Flavour Cómo sabe Choose it if
Hielo de Arándano Cold, sweet berries with a cool finish you want the fruit to taste like it came out of a freezer
Bebida Energética Fizzy and sharp, closer to a soda than to fruit you want a break from fruit entirely
Hielo de Uva Deep, rich grape over a cool base you like a darker, fuller fruit note
Kiwi Maracuyá Guayaba Tropical and slightly tart, with a small sour bite you want a layered mix rather than one fruit
Mr Blue A rounded berry blend that does not name its parts you want berries without committing to one
Hielo de melocotón Soft and sweet with a light chill you want something gentle rather than sharp
Sandía con Fresa Sweet strawberry over fresh watermelon you want the lightest, most summery option here
Fresa y Kiwi Sweet and tart in roughly equal measure you want a bit of bite under the sweetness
Fresa Frambuesa Cereza Three red fruits together, deeper than the single-fruit options you want the fullest red-fruit taste in the list
Hielo de Sandía Sweet, fresh and light you want the mildest profile of the ten

2 % or 5 %: the one recommendation I would give

Option What it changes in use Choose it if
2 % Less in every draw, so a long draw stays gentle. The fill is identical either way. you take longer, more frequent draws
5 % More in every draw, so a short draw does more of the work. The fill is identical either way. you take short, firm draws and want them to land

If you are ordering without having tried either, my pick is 2 %, and the reason is the fill. With 28 ml in a sealed tank you cannot swap strength halfway through, and a lighter option lets you draw as long as you like without the session becoming heavy. Someone who already takes short, firm draws will get more out of 5 %.

What the flavour names do not tell you

Two things. First, our listing does not state whether every one of the ten is available in both strengths, and I am not going to assume it is; if you need a specific flavour in a specific strength, ask before ordering. Second, the names tell you the fruit and the chill, not the balance between them. Kiwi Passion Fruit Guava and Strawberry Kiwi both read as fruit mixes, and they are not close in the mouth. The third column of the table above is the closest thing to a decision aid that a written page can give you.

Living with it: first steps, the readout and the draw

Your first five minutes with it

Take it out of the box, check the mouthpiece is clean, and draw. That is the whole first session. There is nothing to fill, nothing to prime and no setting to choose before the first draw. The device arrives charged well enough to try, though not necessarily full, so the first thing I do with a new one is put it on a cable for a few minutes while I read the leaflet. It weighs about 100 g, so it will feel substantial the first time you pick it up if you are used to a small bar.

What the LED readout shows, and what it leaves out

Our listing states that the LED display covers the battery and the liquid status, and that is what I use it for: the battery figure tells me whether to plug in before I leave the house, and the liquid figure tells me whether I am near the end of a fill. What the readout leaves out is worth as much as what it shows. Our listing does not state how the liquid level is measured, so I treat that figure as an estimate built from how much has been drawn rather than as a float gauge you could trust to the last millilitre. It is a good guide to roughly where you are and a poor guide to exactly where you are. There is also no stated puff counter, so if you see one advertised elsewhere, treat it as that seller’s addition rather than a feature of this device.

There is no button: how the draw works

The device is draw-activated, which means it starts when you draw and stops when you stop. There is no button to press and no setting to leave in the wrong position. Our listing also does not state an adjustable airflow control, so if a listing offers you one, that is a different device from this one. Both of those absences are features of the design rather than things missing from it: fewer controls on a sealed device are fewer controls to fail.

Keeping it in good order: charging and storage

Charging it without shortening the cell’s life

A 650 mAh cell does not need a fast charger, and giving it one is the most common way to shorten a small battery’s working life. A plain port on a laptop, or a standard 5 V phone plug, is the right match. Our own listing puts a full charge at about half an hour; treat that as the listing’s figure rather than a stopwatch result, because it depends on what you plug into. Partial charges are fine, so there is no reason to run it flat before topping up. Unplug it when the readout says full rather than leaving it connected overnight as a habit.

Storing it between sessions

A sealed device holds its fill, so a spare can sit in a drawer until you need it. Once a device is open, it is in use, and the fill will keep going down even if you only draw occasionally. Keep it out of direct sun and away from a hot car interior, and keep it upright where you can, because that is how the tank was designed to sit.

Task How often The detail that decides whether it goes well
Cargando when the readout drops low Use a plain 5 V port. A high-wattage fast charger is not needed for a cell this size.
Topping up whenever it suits you Partial charges are fine, and unplugging at full is better than leaving it connected.
Storing a spare until you need it Keep it sealed. An opened device is already spending its fill.
Carrying it every day Bag or jacket pocket, upright if you can. At about 100 g it is not a shirt-pocket device.
Cleaning the mouthpiece occasionally Wipe it. Do not rinse it: it is a sealed device and water has no business inside it.

Is this the right device for you?

Worth buying if Look elsewhere if Because
you are tired of replacing a device every week you like changing flavour during the day 28 ml in one sealed tank means one flavour for the whole fill.
you want to see where the battery stands you never want to think about a cable It recharges over Type-C, so a cable is part of owning it.
you keep a device in a bag or a drawer you want something you forget is in a shirt pocket At about 100 g it is heavy for a disposable.
you prefer a longer, easier draw you want the firmest short draw available 2 % is the option that rewards a long draw; 5 % is built for short ones.
you like fruit, ice or a soda profile you want tobacco or dessert All ten options are fruit, ice or energy-drink profiles. There is no tobacco or dessert fill in this list.

Questions buyers ask before ordering

What is in the box when I order a single device?

Our listing documents the trade pack – 10 pieces per box, 200 per carton – and it does not itemise what a single-unit order arrives with beyond the device itself. I am not going to guess at a cable or a leaflet, so the honest answer is that the device is what is confirmed, and anything else in the parcel should be confirmed with us before you order.

Can I refill the tank or change flavour halfway through?

No. Our own product text is explicit that this is a disposable you do not refill, and that you use it until the fill is gone. There is no top-up port and no pod to swap, so the flavour and the strength you order are the flavour and the strength you get for the whole 28 ml.

What should I do if it stops charging or the screen goes blank?

Try a different cable and a different port first, because that is the cause far more often than the device is. If it still will not take a charge, stop and contact us: our listing does not state a warranty period, so I will not invent one here, and the right next step is to ask us what cover applies to your order.

Does it leak if I carry it in a bag?

Our listing describes it as staying clean in a pocket, and that matches my five weeks: no residue around the mouthpiece or in the bag I carried it in. Carrying it upright is still the better habit, and it is the one thing I would change about how I treated mine at the start.

How heavy is it compared with a normal disposable?

Noticeably heavier. Our listing gives approximately 100 g per piece, which is several times a small bar and is the direct consequence of carrying 28 ml and a 650 mAh cell. It is not a problem in a bag; it is a surprise in a shirt pocket.

Can I order any of the ten options in either nicotine level?

Our listing states 2 % and 5 % as the two options and ten flavours, and it does not state that every flavour is stocked in both strengths. Rather than assume it, ask us for the combination you want and we will confirm it against the carton before it ships.

Buying the URO Tornado 30K for a shop or a reseller

The URO Tornado 30K ships 10 pieces to a box and 200 pieces to a master carton. The carton measures 375 x 375 x 300 mm and weighs approximately 21 kg gross, so plan for a two-person lift and a footprint that sits comfortably beside a second carton. All ten flavours sit inside one carton, which means a single carton gives you a complete flavour run rather than a partial one – the most common mistake on a first order of a new device is splitting a carton and ending up with three flavours that will not move.

Single units and boxes dispatch from our EU warehouse with the tracking details sent on the dispatch confirmation, so a shop testing demand does not have to commit to a carton to find out whether the device sells. My suggestion for a shop that has never stocked this one is a single carton: it holds every flavour in a countable quantity, and at 28 ml a customer who settles on one flavour tends to come back for that same flavour rather than drift to a different device.

Two practical notes for restocking. First, the reorder interval on a device this size is driven by how many customers try it, not by how quickly one customer returns, so judge your first carton on sell-through rather than on repeat visits. Second, the carton is the unit that keeps a full flavour run together, so if you split one across strengths, record which flavours went where.

For pricing and quantity breaks, the cart holds the current figures. I do not print them on this page because they change, and a page that quotes one cannot keep it true. If you need the carton split across strengths, or you want to know the box quantities for a specific flavour mix, ask us before ordering and we will confirm it. If you are unsure whether this device or a smaller one suits your counter better, that question is worth asking before you commit to a carton – the fill is the figure to compare, not the rating, and a shop that mostly sells small bars will find this one sells to a different customer.

Every figure on this page that describes the device comes from our own listing for the URO Tornado 30K. The 30,000 puff figure is the manufacturer’s rating and is described here as a rating. The draw band is arithmetic from the fill and from published consumption figures, and it is a planning band, not a promise.
